Daniel Han KimI am a postdoctoral fellow at the MIT Senseable City Lab (SCL). My research sits at the intersection of transportation infrastructure, human mobility, and urban accessibility — I use tools from network science, statistical physics, and machine learning to understand cities as self-organized complex systems. Before joining SCL, I earned my Ph.D. in Informatics from Indiana University (IU), where, as a member of the Center for Complex Networks and Systems Research (CNetS), I studied complex networks and systems with an emphasis on transportation and urban systems. I earned my B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Physics from Kyung Hee University (KHU), where I developed a foundation in statistical physics and complex systems.
