Daniel Han KimI am a postdoctoral fellow at the MIT Senseable City Lab. My research sits at the intersection of transportation infrastructure, human mobility, and urban accessibility — I use tools from network science, statistical physics, and machine learning to understand cities as self-organized complex systems. Before joining SCL, I earned my Ph.D. in Informatics from Indiana University Bloomington, where I studied complex networks and systems with an emphasis on transportation and urban systems. I earned my B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Physics from Kyung Hee University in Seoul, where I developed a foundation in statistical physics and complex systems.
